Using Local LibrariesYou may wish to use a local library, close to where you live or work, for study purposes. Examples include a hospital, workplace or university library. Oceania University of Medicine will supply a Letter of Introduction, identifying you as one of our medical students or staff (providing you also show a current Oceania University of Medicine student/staff card) and requesting the local library offer you use of their facilities. Note: If you do not have a current Oceania University of Medicine ID card please contact student administration to organise one. Most libraries do not charge for using space for study purposes or for using most locally held materials within their library but they may charge a fee to use their computers, access the internet or borrow some of their books. In this case you can apply to have Oceania University of Medicine
reimburse any reasonable membership fees charged for each 12 month
period you remain an Oceania University of Medicine student or staff
member and retain membership of the local library. |
