- Learn how to use a few discovery tools really well instead of using a lot badly.
2. Understand the need to critically evaluate resources you find on the Internet
- Who has written the site and why?
- When was the content first published and last updated?
- Where is the information from? (Which country/type of site)
- Know that it is necessary to spend some time reading About/ Aims/ History/ Disclaimer/ Copyright pages before relying on the content of any site.
- Realize that health and medical web sites are not all written by qualified, unbiased professionals.
- Know that Internet information can be volatile; it can change or disappear at any moment.
