A Typical Day
Monday through Friday during most modules in the first three years of study (Foundation and Preclinical Phases), students typically spend 9 am to 4 pm on campus. MORE

Computers and Textbooks
While a laptop or notebook computer is not a requirement for studying in Samoa, students have found it helpful to have one. Computers should be equipped with Windows XP or higher operating system and an up-to-date anti-virus program. MORE

Tuition
New students are required to pay a ten percent non-refundable matriculation fee AU$2,500 at the time of acceptance to secure their choice of enrolment date. The remainder of the first semester’s tuition must be paid at least 30 days before the term begins. MORE

Financial Aid / Scholarships
Financial aid is available to OUM students in the form of payment plans and a limited number of scholarships. All OUM students in good standing are eligible for payment plans which give students the flexibility to budget and pay for medical school as they progress through the curriculum. MORE

Like all medical schools and other higher education institutions, OUM has established a number of policies and regulations that standardise student situations ranging from attendance and dissemination of grades, to substance abuse, retaking exams, and special considerations.
